Natalie!

It means, "Born on Christmas"! I am due 12/25. (Not that due dates mean anything-- DD was 4 days early).

So far, it's our only serious rival to Anna. It also goes better with a MN I would like to use...Arin, because my brother Aaron passed away in 2008. (It's the feminine version of Aaron that also means "mountain of strength", whereas other variations mean "Ireland".)

Natalie Arin B(2 syllable French-Canadian). Smile

The MN for Anna is not set yet. We have a long list, but any suggestions are welcome.

Our boy name is Samuel Aaron.

I like the name Natalie.

I also like Anna.

However, I don't like that your DS's middle name is Aaron, and the middle name you have for a girl is Arin. They are essentially the same name. Just different spelling. It's nice to honor your brother, but both kids with the same middle name is kind of overkill. JMHO.

Our girl name was Natalie Ann, for this specific reason! Once I found out its meaning, I was in love.
I am super psyched that we are having a boy, but I can't say that I am not a little disappointed at not using this name. People assume we will use it next time if we have a girl, but this was a seasonal thing!

Natalie/Natalia is on our short-short list for girl names. I'm not due on Christmas, though (12/05). I think it's feminine but not too little girl like, you know?

I love it. Natalie is also on my (ever-growing) list for girl's names, it's a beautiful name, and the MN is a great way to honor your brother. My brother passed away and I'd love to do something similar, but I could probably only use his name (Chad) if we have a boy.

I like that. If kiddo is born actually on Christmas that might be a contender.

On a related note, Pascale might be a cool middle name since kiddo was likely concieved on or around Easter.

Plus I love that name. Could be boy or girl name, Pascal boy, Pascale girl.

I love the name Natalie. So far it's my top choice too (still talking fast with DH). I want to call her Talia for short, but I haven't come up with any middle names that I am in love with yet. This naming business is hard...
