spitting curdled milk?

just wanted to know if  sptting or vomiting of curdled milk is ok bya 4 week old? also,my little boy has too much gas...becus iam passing  out gas very frequently...i cant figure out the food i am eatong which is causing this gas...any medications ishud take, i am breastfeeding too..

  • Yes, it is ok. I noticed that DD got fussy when I ate broccoli... play around with your diet.

  • Yes, the milk coming out curdled is normal. Because of digestive enzymes in your little one's stomach (and yours for that matter), the curds and whey will separate from one another in the stomach, which is why your little one is spitting/vomiting curds.

    I assume you're breastfeeding? If you are pumping, you may have to play around with the kinds of nipples, bottles and feeding apparatuses that you're using to help eliminate gas. If you are simply breastfeeding, yes, try making adjustments to your diet and give things about a week to settle down before hopping on the medication train. 

    Something that's helped me a lot is simply burping far more frequently during feedings to help eliminate stomach air moving into the intestines. It has helped quite a bit.
