Lets talk favorite cleaning products:

While pregnant I was using mostly vinegar and water and baking soda for cleaning unless it really needed something strong.

Right now I have been purchasing the Method brand cleaning products but I am not the biggest fan of the smell of some of the sprays (the lemon anti-bac spray is terrible) I just sprayed down the kitchen with it and it is driving me nuts. My DH was the one who picked it up, maybe Im just not fond of lemon or lavender?

  • Vinegar and water, ratio 1:1. My husband prefers to use glass cleaner on every effing thing. A lot like the father in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
  • I also use vinegar and water a lot! I love Bon Ami products.

  • All the anti-bac stuff smells nasty b/c of the thyme oil. Method and Seventh Gen. both use that for anti-bac. I use both of those brands, plus sometimes Mrs. Meyers. I LOVE the way Mrs. Meyer's lavender smells.

    lol!

  • I try to avoid antibacterial products because I'm worried we're creating antibiotic resistant bacteria. I like the Mrs. Meyers countertop spray, but for a thriftier version, just get the all purpose cleaner (it comes in a liter bottle) and water it down in a spray bottle. The products smell amazing. For cleaning glass, I just use diluted white vinegar, and if the smell is a problem, you can add some essential oil. I use Bon Ami for scrubbing sinks, tubs, and stainless steel pots, and I use Seventh Generation dish soap and toilet bowl cleaner.

  • We like Simple green.  I like the cleaner smell......I'm no huffer, but I do like it when my house smells likes its been scrubbed.  Depends on what I'm cleaning, but we also use soft scrub, 409, and scrubbing bubbles.  I have a cabinet full of cleaning supplies.....I think thats my OCD part of me coming out though!

I love cleaning products! I know I should probably use something more "green". I like lysol disinfectant spray, clorox toilet bowl cleaner, lysol & mr. clean for the floors mixed with a little bleach. I also like products that have oxyclean in them. I've tries using vinegar and water and I just don't feel like my house is clean. And it makes my house stink.

I also use simple green! I love it and I love how it smells! I am slightly addicted to Clorox cleaning wipes because I am a lazy cleaner, and I can just wipe things down without having to use anything else...
