Adoption

Update*** We are meeting our son today!

The meeting went really well. He is sooo cute. He was very polite too. He was kind of shy & quiet at first, but he warmed up to us as the day went on. We had a really nice time. We will be seeing him again this weekend. He said he wants to go bowling.

I really appreciate all your kind words and prayers yesterday. So glad the first meeting is over :)

First, thank you all for all your well wishes. I really appreciate the support.

Msditz00- don't ever give up. It took a year from home study approval to when we were matched. FYI- we did straight adoption, not foster to adopt. We were so discouraged at times and felt like giving up. We were in so many matchings and then were not chosen. We asked ourselves why we weren't good enough. But now, meeting this child, there are so many things pointing to the fact that this child was meant to be our son. We could not be happier!
