Bite, scratch, pull, hit :/

Those are the things my DD does to me every day.

When I pick her up she's so happy and excited. Then she grabs my face with both her hands, pulls me towards her and starts biting my chin. Her little nails dig into my neck on one hand and the other pulls my hair. Then she laughs and starts hitting my face.

DS pinched me so hard on the neck the other day I almost yelled in church! He loves to grab faces and pull hair. He is also big on scratching especially while eating. Its hard to keep those little finger nails clipped enough he doesn't scratch his whole face up!

Yep, I end up trimming DS's nails at least twice a week. If I forget, he ends up with scratches on his face (and on me). Heck, the first thing he did after he was born was scratch his face.

He's definately getting stronger and a lot more explorative. He grabs DH's and my faces, and he often grabs the boob during feedings. Good news is he knows how to grab the boob and put the nipple back in his mouth. Bad news is he sometimes grabs my nipple by mistake. Yeouch!!

yep, i'm getting scratched too! i have a tiny scab under my eye where she got me the other day. and in the morning she latches onto my cheek when i pick her up... when she realizes nothing is coming out she freaks on me LOL

I was chomping on LOs fingers making her laugh. She stopped laughing, curled her tiny finger and scratched the roof of my mouth. I heard the scrape as she did it.

Oh, the fingernails are awful! My LO hardly naps during the day when we have him at home, so I finally gave up trying to wait until he was asleep and cut them while he was in his high chair after breakfast. He let me cut them with no problem, so I think we will continue trying that. He loves to pull my hair, it's his favorite new thing. If I lean over him, he grabs it...when I'm holding him, he grabs it. LOL. He also grabs my face and puts his mouth all over it...I call it his kisses.

the funniest thing, though, is he grabs the hubby's chest hair and yanks! Hehehehe

Somebody actually told me that those are baby's first kisses? The sucking on the face LMAO And yes, DD pulls DHs chest hair, too! And she's given him a few nipple twisters, too :P

Same and im glad to know its normal, but boy oh boy does it hurt. those nails are sharp as hell lol!

DS likes to grab for my face and like many others he doesn't really cooperate and I can't cut or file his nails often so I have scratches on my face too. He also tries to eat my chin cheeks and nose and I like to think he is trying to give me kisses back since I'm always doing it to him. :-)
