LO will be going to DC in Sept at 8am. They serve breakfast at 9:00. If Lo wakes up at 7, would you give her anything to eat then or wait until breakfast at DC? If so, what would you give so that she still will eat DC breakfast?
DS wakes up at 7 and has a bottle right away. He gets to daycare around 8-8:30 and has breakfast at 9-9:30. He's usually content with that but if he shows signs of hungr I give him so Cheerios to snack on while I finish getting ready.
I would definitely feed right at wake-up. Keep in mind that if your LO goes there hungry, or more like starving, than she may be too fussy and more difficult to feed.
Like PPs, DD has her bottle when she wakes up around 6:30 or 7:00, and then her babysitters give her breakfast around 9.
I guess when she drops that bottle, I'll just start giving her some milk and a little fruit or something in the morning before she goes to the babysitter? Haven't figured that out yet.
Are you sure they are feeding breakfast at 9am? 9am seems rather late for a child to eat breakfast, especially if they have been up for a while. Make sure it's actually breakfast and not a morning snack. To answer your question though, I would feed my child that wakes up at 7 breakfast at home and not wait two hours to feed them at DC.
my dc does breakfast at 8, since my LO isnt there till 9 he gets breakfast when he wakes around 6:15, then a bottle at 8 then he gets a snack at daycare at 9:30
Actually you are right.. she gets breakfast at 8. My mistake. I also forgot to mention that she wakes up at 5:30 am gets a bottle and sleeps again until 7ish.
Re: Breakfast/Daycare
Thanks good points!
