Hotel/Condo swimming pool and beach water

I will be going on vacation soon and wanted to know if it is safe to put my 6 month old in the water when I go in? Also is beach/ocean water safe ok at this age?

We just did both beach (of a lake) and swimming pool this weekend. We rinsed him off good right after the swimming pool. He loved the sand at the beach. We put him in the water very gradually and he seemed to enjoy it!

We took DD swimming last week and she loved it. I just gave a bath afterwards, make sure you have sunscreen if you happen to swim outside:) GL and enjoy!
