Lady I just read your first "adoption prayer group post" and I am concerned!  Congrats on getting the job, but what does this mean for your adoption? Can't adopt and work the job as well?  My heart is going out to you.  Talk to me! What's going on?

Clomid + IUI#1, #2 = BFN / IUI #3 = ???

Laparoscopy scheduled December 2013

    I was thinking the same thing..we have been at this for exactly one year..It is frustrating and trying but I intend to adopt and work full time plus many other hours (own my own business)

    Thanks, ladies :) This has nothing to do with the job that I just accepted. If the adoption goes through, I plan to be a stay-at-home mom. I'm just frustrated because right after we got our home study approved our agency told us oops! we don't have a Caucasian infant only domestic program open anymore which is what we applied for. Now, I'm trying to find another agency and I'm just getting frustrated ...... for instance, one agency in VA yesterday told me that I couldn't adopt a Caucasian infant because I live in Maryland and another agency wouldn't accept our home study.

    The agency that we worked with gave us a list of options, but only one agency on their list has a Caucasian infant program that was in our price range ($20,000 to $25,000).

    DH and I have been trying to have a family for the past eight years. Four IUIs, all BFNs, first IVF attempt BFP followed by miscarriage, second IVF attempt BFN. During infertility treatments, I felt like my life was in the hands of my doctors and now I feel like it's in the hands of these agencies. DH and I still want a family, but I want control of my life back.

    So, we're still pursuing adoption options. However, we are very frustrated and discourage. If anybody knows of a Caucasian infant adoption program in our price range, please email or PM me. Thanks so much :)

    Sorry you're having such a rough time.   I wish I knew a better agency for you!  Keep us updated.
