Ladies, please provide your guidance:
DH and I have been TTC for 2 cycles. Ovulation was June 25th, AF due today. This morning I was woken up with terrible cramps that lasted about 10-15 minutes. I usually have really bad cramps for a two days starting my 2nd day of AF, so I thought it was odd that they started first.
Anyway, I put in a tampon and pouted. Fast forward 6 hours.... Go to change the tampon and it's clean. No spots, no color, nothin. Been having mild cramping all day like a regular AF, but not bad like this morning.
Could these be implantation cramps? I hear they are supposed to be mild, but since I have bad menstrual cramps, could that make for bad implantation cramps? I'm going to test tonight (cross your fingers, please). Also, aren't they supposed to hit closer to ovulation? It's been 15 days.
Thanks!
Re: Really painful implantation cramps or Bloodless AF?
1. how do you know you Od?
2. If you did O then, a HPT should be +, have you tested?
3. It could be spotting before AF
Implantation cramps typically happen around implantation, 7-10 dpo.
My first thought is how do you know when you Oed?
My second thought is, your period is coming soon, but go ahead and test if you like.
My BFP Chart
I agree. Take a test.
FWIW.... i never felt anything with implantation. Don't really know when it occured. I'm guess 9dpo with #1 since I had a nice temp dip, but other than that...nothing.

I think I O'd on the 25th because I've been temping and had a 0.8 degree temp dip 23rd & 24th with a 1.2 degree rise that stayed within 0.2 degree since the 25th. My Had EWCM 24th, 25th and 26th.
I plan to test tonight, but hadn't before because I'm trying not to be too anxious or get my hopes up.

No. I never had mid cycle spotting until I did. Random things happen.
And also, WTF is a bloodless period?

Yes, exactly. I couldn't think of the term.. Thank you!
Before I found out I was pregnant with my son, I had cramps that felt the exact same as my menstrual cramps, so I thought AF was coming and I wasn't pregnant. I took an HPT the day before my period was due and it was positive.
I'm not saying your pregnant for sure, but yes, you can have cramps right before AF and be pregnant. Or your cycle could just be a day late. It happens.
Take a test, and good luck.

Clear period. Clear or yellowish discharge instead of blood.
This makes no damn sense.
What about clear or yellowish discharge and no blood makes it a freakin' period?

Would love to get rid of the ticker, but the link is broken. It keeps taking me to baby names when I try. There is such a thing as a "Clear Period" (I use the wrong term, sorry) where you have clear or off-white discharge instead of blood. I poop just fine, thank you. And thank you for validating that these would not be implantation cramps because it's been too long.
Maybe next time you could try being nice before you just get on your high horse.
No there isn't.

So her having a great amount of knowlege puts her on a high horse? Got it. Please define clear period for me. I don't think it means you have the discharge verses blood. I think that just means you have discharge NO blood. Not like one or the other has to be happening to you?

OP, there is no such thing as a clear period. Don't you find it odd that you are the only one who claims there is such a thing!?
And you are correct, it's too late for implantation. AF is coming. It is possible to have your cycle change and get your cramps before the blood.
I've never heard of this before, but I admit to knowing very little compared to most of the women here on the TTC forums.
I hope you see that + on your HPT
good luck.
Thanks for sharing this. In my first 2ww and have had cramps for past couple days which I usually never feel until after AF arrives! Might be tempted to test early before I go OOT.

She also said when it was removed there wasn't anything on it, so when did the bloodless period AKA discharge appear?
Yea! Clear period totes means you're preggly! Time to start fisting, you gotta stretch that sh!t out to make delivery easier!
WTF people there is no such thing as a clear period. Some days I hate Tuesdays.

Yes I am! BFP last night. OB appointment in the AM.
Cramping caused by dehydration and my running schedule, so says the CPA at the ER last night. I'm really going to miss my long runs over the next 9 months, but it's for a great cause!
I LOL'd at this.
Um congrats? I suggest you do a little reading about pregnancy since you seem to be utterly clueless. Also, you can probably run throughout your pregnancy. Women have run marathons pregnant. Just sayin.
