  Corn starch. Just lightly put it on their skin. Just not on their face. Also. Don't bundle up too much. Babies can't regulate their temp so make sure they don't get too hot.

  Are you sure its not baby acne?  My babies acne is worse when she gets warm...I used Cetaphil face wash on it and it is gone within a few hours.

  My mother asked me that when I mentioned it tonight...I suppose it could be. I've never seen baby acne or had a heat rash before so I wouldn't know the difference. It just came on so fast and looked like the red spots she got in between her little baby rolls before we started leaving her in just a diaper all day, so I assumed it was the same thing.

  The extra heat and sweet from people holding your baby can make them hotter, I find a onsie helps keep lo cooler than just a diaper, we found that with my first too he was a May baby as well.  For heat rash a cool wash cloth or bath helps, other wise putting anything on it just makes it worse.

  Sounds like eczema (sp?). That's what mine had and her pedi prescribed her some cream which got rid of it.
