mini vent--a little stressed

DH has been busy with work (side jobs) and summer school, I hands down 100% understand this..

BUT, he has known for 9months that LO is coming, and we decided about 9 months ago that we are going to use DS1 crib for our second. DH needs to sand it down and re-stain it bc DS "ate" the two sides and front part of the crib. Well DH just started on the crib two days ago and hasnt gotten very far-its been 100'+ out so he's not into it... Im just so stressed bacause Im getting induced this monday night, or tuesday morning (I find out Thursday). I want to be able to walking into LO's room and feel like it is 100% done, and ready for him to come home to...and it isnt, sigh.

DH also needs to put the stroller together, and put LO's name on the wall (he wants to do it so its "perfect"..Well, now that DS is down for a nap Im going to put the stroller together... uggggggg

    Will your LO be in the crib right away?  We don't have our new nursery done yet either, but I am not stressed since DS will sleep with us for a while.  As for the stroller, I'd put it together myself.  I also give my husband time limits.  I would say you have until Sunday night to get the name on the wall or I will just do it before I go into the hospital.  That usually makes him realize that 1. I really do want it done and 2. if he wants it done his way he better hop to it!

    I will have the baby nap in his crib, but sleep in our room at night. Not only that, Im just a little ocd..

    Make him get it done now, caring for a newborn and toddler will leave both of you with zero time to finish it after #2 arrives.
