Anyone heard of it/use it? Thoughts? My LO hates to be swaddled, but startles herself awake without it.....I need something to help keep her in her crib all night
Haven't heard of that one - we had a hard time keeping our lil guy swaddled - he seemed to hate it and fought his way out of every blanket we tried. Finally I came across a "swaddleme" in my blanket basket in the middle of the night and tried it. He's been sleeping GREAT ever since, it is an absolute life saver! It has velcro that keeps his arms swaddled but he can still kick his legs. AT 2 1/2 months, he is ALMOST sleeping through the night...I'm scared for the day he outgrows it!
We have the swaddleme but she is able to kick herself out. The only thing that works sometimes is wrapping a blanket around her like a burrito, but she kicks herself out of that too sometimes and it isn't very safe when the blanket ends up around her face. I'm tempted to buy the miracle suit, but don't want to waste money on something else that collects dust
I have heard of it....but havent tried it.....we currently use the swaddle me as well but he somehow manages to wiggle his little arms out of it while keeping the velcro secured.....no matter how snug i adhere the velcro! Hes a houdini (sp?)!! If you do get the miracle suit let us know how it works!!
It gets rave reviews at playgroup. I rented it to see if it would help with naps, but DD hated it. DS seems to not need the swaddle as much as she did so I'm hoping we can just stop without issue.
There are a few ladies on my off-board that swear by Merlins Sleep Suit. One of the girls sent me one, but Kate is a belly sleeper, so she can't use it
We have the swaddle strap. but for those who don't want to buy an extra swaddle tool, check you youtube video "swaddling 102". It will strap them arms down and all you need is a small blanket.
I think that's what I have it's called the miracle blanket I think it's the same thing. I got it at BRU last week bc LO has an awful startle reflex that ruins all naps and night sleep. I had the Halo sleepsack swaddle but she could get out of that in less than 5 min. This one she has yet to break out of and she doesn't mind being in it. She sleeps great in it so far so I would recommend it for sure.

I have tried every swaddle blanket. Yes, used the magic sleepsuit with DD1 from 4.5 months to about 10 months. It worked wonders for her, was the only thing! I have 3 in different sizes. They recommend waiting till they are at least 3 months or it might not be as effective. I still swaddle DD2 and have tried her in the suit, but she freaks out, so I don't think she is ready for it yet (only 2.5 months).
She hates the wombie since she doesn't like her legs bounded and miracle blanket is not tight enough (you just wrap it around, so place to tuck in place). We do escape proof swaddle, loose around her legs. I also bought the swaddle strap and tried it for a few naps and seemed to work well. Have not tried for nighttime sleep yet.
