Should I feed baby?

I'm sick today (probably due to clogged ducts in both breasts) so my parents came over to take care of LO. They are sitting outside having a grand old time... however LO has not fed for 4 hours... he never goes this long during the day?! He seems perfectly happy to play with his grandparents and has not fussed at all. Should I "force-feed" him or wait until he decides that he is hungry?

Yes! You need to empty you breasts to help with the clogged ducts.

i usually stay away from forced feeding, but if you offer and he takes it, feed the baby. If not you will want to pump cuz you needs to empty those clogged up ducts.

I would wait to feed him but def. pump (if u can) if you have a clogged duct!!

When I was BF my doctor told me to feed through being sick.. it would help me bounce back better...

If you're feeling sick and have clogged ducts I would get an appointment to see someone. Mastistis tends to make you feel like you have the flu. I would probably just offer and see if he takes.
