Kingston Henry has arrived

On my due date we went for a 2 mile walk around 7 pm - we came home and my water broke - which was quite funny as it didn't happen with my first son. I was standing in the living room and my husband was talking to me and then water starting trinkling down my leg, He saw it and I was like what the heck then I jumped over to the wood floor and it started gushing we started laughing the more I laughed the more gushed out then my son even joined in the laughing.

We went to the ER since it was a Sunday and got admitted at about 9:30 pm was dialated to a 3. Had some back labor that wasn't that much fun - contractions were 2 mins long and pretty intense so decided to get an epidural at 1 am and at 3 am was dialated full and they said we would be pushing soon. Pushed for 50 mins and baby Kingston arrived at 4:01 am.

He has been really good - content baby and took to breast feeding right away like a pro. All is well we get discharged tomorrow and will go home. Hope all other July mamas are having a good time with their newborns or getting closer soon

Congratulations! I had to laugh at the mental image of the jumping to the wood floor with water running down your leg and you all laughing - It just sounds like an awesome way to kick off labor!
