April 2012 Moms

(Added PIP)Best $90 I spent in a long time

DS loves to stand, like to the point where he crys when he isn't standing. Momma needed a break. Last night I bought the Baby Einstein jumper and we tried it out this morning and he absolutly loves it!! I had to put a phonebook under his feet ( I knew I kept one around for some reason) and I put a blanket behind his back for extra suport. In 5 mins he even figured out how to press the buttons to make it light up and play music. Since he is just 15 lbs, I wouldn't leave him in it unless I'm sitting right there but it is still a great break for my back. If your baby has really good head control and loves to stand, you may want to look into getting a jumper or exersaucer. Or setting it up if you already have one. I would post pics but I'm on my phone as he is nursing.

You should so do it!! He had the hickups which normally really p!sses him off but he kept playing for 5 mins before he started to get mad about them.

  • I might have to pull ours out.  Asher is using me as his exersaucer lately.
    DS1 age 7, DD age 5 and DS2 born 4/3/12
  • Here are some pics I want to AW now that he is napping.

I had to use a phonebook since his legs weren't long enough. I think he is around 25" tall and 15lbs,

This one made me laugh with one of our dogs and that black thing is the cat's tail as he walked in font of the camera.

I'm excited. I just finished setting ours up. Ansley just woke up. She's eating, we're diaper changing, then I'll see what she thinks

I hope she loves it! DS has been in it a few different times today. He got mad when I changed the keyboard to just music notes or the shapes and colors. He just liked where it played a full song with each button. He kept hitting them and changing the song and starting it over though.

  • I can't wait to get ours. My friend has one she wants to give to me but we haven't been able to coordinate a time to pick it up. DD loves to sit up and kick. DF always has her standing on his lap. So I'm hoping this will help entertain her. I don't have too many things for her at this stage. She get's bored with her playmat and there is only so long I can lay on the floor shaking toys in front of her. I have a jumper to hang in the doorway but it doesn't have a tall back like an exersaucer does.

She loves it!! Of course, I didn't test the music thing after I put the rechargeable batteries in and before I clicked it in place. It doesn't work, so I'll have to  go get some regular batteries for it. I know she'll like it since she loves her kick and play playmat. She's a big music fan. I'll have to fix it tomorrow for her

  • Oh man! This makes me think my LO is behind! She's still a peanut, I'm guessing 10.5 lbs. Head strength is getting better and she sits in her Bumbo. Maybe I'll try it with the blanket this week. Your LO is so cute!

I don't think she is behind because of that. DS is just big for his age and he has always been really strong so he is just ahead physically right now. He started holding up his head and rolling both ways early.
