E does the same. Not every single time, but it started around that age. I'm going with nightmares because it's a hell of a time getting him to calm down.
We are having the same problem. My sister watches her at home and just called me and said it took 45min to calm her down.
The only time we have gone through this she cries for a few seconds and goes right back to sleep. We have always just guessed a nightmare of some sort.
Henry has been doing the exact same thing. I cannot figure out what's happening. Its the worst screaming I've ever heard, but usually doesn't involve tears. Sometimes I wonder if he's even awake.
