I thought it would be fun to test the heart rate theory for those that already know the gender of their baby.
If you know the gender of your baby, please list the gender and the heart rate from your latest check up below.
I realize it's just an old wives tale and it depends on the activity of the baby, so this is just for fun!
Re: Testing the heart rate old wives tale
6w5d: 125
10w (or somewhere around there): 158
16w3d: 156 - BOY
1) We've had at least a dozen posts on the heart rate owt.
2) There is a spreadsheet that was made regarding the owt's and actual a/s results.
Good try though.
Eek, didn't mean to anger you. As an occasional visitor of this group, I thought the results would be interesting. Please forgive me, I didn't realize this was an exclusive group that doesn't allow repeat posts.
I figured rational people would just ignore it if they didn't want to participate.
My bad.
Which is exactly what they should do. No one is forcing anyone to open a post or even reply. They can just get over it.
Thank you!!

How is everyone supposed to know how/when various topics have been posted?
It's not like everyone looks through the 75 pages of posts before they post a new topic just to be sure no one has talked about their topic before. Geeze.
Pretty sure no one here has seen and read EVERY post - even yourself.
In fact, for me, this is the first post I've read about this topic - I've seen them once or twice (not the dozen you claim) I've never really read them.
I have yet to hear of this spreadsheet - and why is the spreadsheet not available to everyone? I would consider myself a regular on this board and feel everyone should have access to it, I would like to see it.
Our past two appointments BPM was in the 150's. Before that the two appointments were in the 160's and 170's.
We don't find out gender until the 23rd!
I'm game :-)
My LO's heart beat was 104 at 5 wks, 5 days, 156 at 16 wks, 4 days, and 145 at 17 wks, 2 days. We're having a little girl!
I heard about the spreadsheet once...but where is it?? On the blog maybe?
