Sky high blood pressure now. vent

For those who don't recall my background or don't know me by my old screen name, BM is a complete screw up who hasn't seen or spoken to the kids in years. I was intending to adopt them but our state doesn't allow it by legal abandonment. Well she recently crawled out of her hole and wants to see the kids. She's in town and DH thinks this is somehow a good idea. He's supposed to be working out the arrangements with her because after the last time we saw her and she insulted me in my own home, I will not deal with her, not to mention I don't agree that she should just be able to come get the kids anyway. Well she just randomly turned up in my driveway because DH is at work and she couldn't reach him. I sent her about her business until she has an arrangement with DH, but I am HOT. The whole point of me not being involved in this insanity was to NOT BE INVOLVED.  Just needed to rant, I've known some crappy people in my life, but she takes the cake.

    Does your DH have full custody? Is he only letting her have a supervised visit since she hasn't seen them in so long? If she wants to be in their life again, there is POTENTIAL for it to work out, but I would be very cautious, not that you don't already know that! :)

    That does seem like a good idea doesn't it? Apparently my suggestion that she have a supervised visit is me trying to keep her from seeing the kids because I'm being petty and jealous according to my not-so-darling-at-the-moment-husband.

    He has primary of our D and joint of our S, but they've both lived with us full time for 5 years.

    And she was actually shockingly civil today, I only had to work with my general dislike and the fact that she kept saying things like 'I got my $hit together, pulled my head out of my a$$, got cleaned up', all of which I've heard before.

    psh I wouldn't have opened the door and I would have called the cops.  but I'm a biatch.  hopefully DH addresses her unannounced visit and how inappropriate it was.

    I totally wouldn't have answered the door, but I was in the car bacause the baby fell asleep!
