I'm back!

I finally have computer access here at the in-law's house in Ireland, yay!

So I think my ticker should be correct now, my little boy is here! Thomas Anthony Robert (known as Tomas, pronouced the Irish way "ta-MOSS" like moss that grows on trees in the woods) was born on the 4th of July, 8 lbs 7 oz and 21.5 inches long. Like my friend said, she chose to liberate himself from the womb on Independence Day! It was a quick, med-free birth (ouch!) and he's amazing. Black hair, blue eyes, just like his sister. He's BFing like a champ and is already back at his birthweight as of yesterday (at 5 days old!). It's totally killing my boobs though. Saoirse absolutely loves him, but has no idea that he's not a toy so she wants to grab his face all the time. We hold her close to him and let her touch him gently - it makes her so happy!

Thank you to everyone who wished us well and thank you for Saoirse's birthday wishes from yesterday. Life has been busy and hectic (along with stressful from staying with the in-laws) but so great.

I'll try to keep up with my posting here, but the little ones keep me very busy these days. DH has Saoirse at the park now and Tomas is sleeping, but I think he's waking up so I'll go feed the beast again. I swear if you put his mouth to a window and walked away he'd stick there - he's got suction power like a vacuum! Thank God for nipple sheilds. Stick out tongue
