My little guy has been doing really well with finger foods for a while now, but for some reason he won't eat any fruit or veggies anymore unless it is pureed. Is there anything I can do, or should I just keep trying? Thanks!
My little one has gone through the same thing! It was about the time he started cutting molars, so I thought that may have something to do with it. We try to "disguise" the more textured food with purees to keep him used to a little bit of texture. I am just going to keep trying....
My LO just started this but only with fruits and veggies that are steamed. They might just be too mushy. We started giving him grated apples/pears, sliced blueberries/grapes/strawberries and cucumber/pepper spears. This seems to have helped. PP might be right though. When they cut their molars they sometimes tend to gravitate to purees because it's gentler on their gums.
