Little Update (on my freak out post)

I spoke to another, much more helpful IVF nurse this morning. She said that she would order the meds today and that I should make sure to wait for a call from Freedom in case they need billing information. She felt that as long as they overnighted it, we would get them in time.

I went to my old RE's office today and bullied them in person into sending the records over to Cooper, so that should be taken care of at this point.

I am heading in for baseline tomorrow morning and I will press for more information then.

Here's the only problem: it is now 8pm and Freedom never called...

Glad things seem to be moving forward for you. I say call Freedom now. I feel like they had later hours to account for west coast time. I think they are still "open." If they can get your shipment started tonight, it will go out first thing tomorrow!

According to their website, they're open M-F:9am ? 9pm ET.

I just got off the phone with Freedom and they don't have a record for the scripts. I am going into Cooper first thing tomorrow though, so hopefully I can make sure that the scripts go through. The Freedom rep said that they often have single samples of meds and they may be able to give me one, or there is a fertility pharmacy across the street from Cooper - maybe I can at least get 1-2 days worth there...

Freedom assured me, however, that if the order goes through tomorrow, I will have everything by Wednesday, so that makes me feel better...

I know mine came to me next day service, and I'm on the west coast, so I'm sure they can get it to you by Wednesday. GL getting the prescription issue taken care of...isn't it sad how much we have to advocate for ourselves in this whole process!! And yes, your RE will likely have samples, or good to know you have a fertility pharmacy near you that you can go to in a worst case scenario!!!

Wednesday delivery should be no problem! I always had next-day delivery. Do be sure to ask whether someone needs to be home to sign.
