I'm so sick of eating! Ha I never thought I'd say that. It's like I'm damned if I do and don't. If I don't eat (when I'm not hungry) I get heartburn. But when I think of food, I can't think of anything I really
want. Meat is out. I'm sick of pasta. No sandwiches. WTF! Lol good problem to have, I know, but just wanted to see if I'm the only one who is sick of having to eat every couple hours to A) get nutrients to LO's and

avoid the nastiness of heartburn!

I can't believe I am saying this because I am such a foodie in real life - DH is actually a chef! Our life revolves around eating. But, I am already tired of stuffing my face and it's only beginning.
My stomach is growling constantly. I have to wake up at 3:30 am and have a huge breakfast and go back to bed. Then if I don't eat frequently enough I feel queasy. Plus food doesn't taste the same - my tastebuds are off, and things that I loved are just meh. It's funny really. I am sitting here working eating a buttermilk biscuit with an herb butter, and a honey butter, plus a fizzy pineapple drink and my stomach is still growling for the next thing.
What is up??? This is craziness and I totally feel you.

BTW, with a singleton pregnancy I think you are supposed to gain around 30 - 40 lbs. and with twins 40 - 50 lbs. I don't see how it's going to be done. Even with all the nonstop eating for the past 3 weeks, I haven't yet gained a pound.
Have you all been gaining appropriately?

PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
This is me, although I am only measuring in 3rd tri (not quite there). I had a few good weeks of being able to eat whatever I wanted, but I'm struggling with heartburn and fullness now. Plus, I still have the occasional days of non stop throwing up. The babies' heads are right up against my diaphragm. The MFM NP recommended Ensure, so that's what I'm doing to put some weight on these babies. Right now, I'm up 18lbs, which is not horrible, but not so great for twins.

Me too! Everyone kept telling me how food just tastes better when you are pregnant, and it will be my one chance in my life to pig out whenever I want to. And yet, here I am, hating food. And oh, the heartburn, all the time, even with meds. Sigh. Somehow I've still managed to put on a normal amount of weight, though I don't know how with as little as I eat.
