Could I be pregnant?

I have 13 and 3 year old boys and said I was done having kids as I have two step sons as well. I have been on Trinessa for years and usually take it about 7:00 pm every night. I even have an alarm set to take it but every now and then it varies by an hour or so. I have also forgot to take it and then took in the very next morning or doubled up the next day. After the last time my husband and I had sex, I noticed the stringy discharge the next morning that you usually get when you are ovulating and just had this strange uh oh feeling that I could be pregnant. My boobs have been sore (mainly my nipples) and I have been nauseated on and off all day long for over a week (but no vomiting). I am just now two days late (which is not that unusual, I usually start by Tuesday on my pills).

Is there anyway I could be pregnant on birth control?

    Take a pregnancy test. Per the warnings on all birth control...if you miss, you could be pregnant.

    If you are having sex then there is a chance you could be pregnant.  Take a test.  The end.

    Even if you use it correctly, the pill isn't 100% effective, so sure it's possible. Take a test.

    Just because you are on some sort of birth control, doesn't 100% guarantee you won't get KU. ijs


    My sister (my parents adopted her.. long story) was conceived after religious BC use and 2 condoms.. ;)

    Considering Trinessa is NOT a progesterone only pill, if you take it within an hour or so of the usual time and do not exceed more than 2 days per month of "forgetting" and taking it as soon as you remember or double up, then it is not very likely that you ovulated.  There's a small chance, but again not likely.

    Some women have phantom pregnancy symptoms - the only real way to know is to take a pregnancy test. Good Luck

    Yes, you could be or you could also not be.  If those symptoms are due to being KU a test would be +.  Take a test, you'll get more accurate results than asking people.

    I'm guessing the fluid you noticed the next morning was semen.

    Try a Magic 8 ball.  Or, better yet, take a pregnancy test.

    OP, did you eat nachos with ranch dressing? because that is the only thing other than a HPT that will tell you if you're pregnant

    I have 2 dd's who are bcp babies. 1 I was an idiot and failed to tell my doc I was on the pill when they prescribed antibiotics in the ER one night... *shaking head in shame* and the 2nd was one of those 1% kids conceived with "perfect use" of the pill. So yes, while its not likely it certainly is possible.
