After years of struggling with infertility issues (PCOS since I was 16) and 15 medicated cycles we finally got blessed with our son. We got lucky with our 7th IUI using stims...Now we are back on the roller coaster to try for another miracle..IVF cycle in May resulted in a chemical pregnancy. 2 snowbabies FET 7/16-transferred 2 blastocyst...Faint bfp 4dp5dt!
Re: Frozen transfer
My DS is a result of a sFET cycle! We chose to transfer one blast since our fresh cycle had resulted in twins (DDs). I was very nervous going into it as we had moved and so I had changed drs. and the FET protocol was totally different from our other cycles...but, it worked and we are blessed to have a healthy baby boy!
Best of luck next week! Hope you have a successful transfer!!
Our DS was a frozen cycle & our twins were our second frozen cycle. Our doc has better results with frozen cycles. He thinks it is because you give you body a rest after the retrival.
Good luck!!!
My singleton pregnancy is the result of a FET of 5-day embryo (only 1 of the 2 thawed successfully).
Good luck!
My twins are 5 weeks old now, the result of a frozen cycle. We transferred 2 and got twins!
Our first cycle after retrieval failed (we really think my body was just way too beaten up after retrieval to have success).
Our office also have higher FET success than regular transfer success.
Singleton and twins all FETs. Good luck with your transfer! I had a mc after my fresh cycle so I know what you're going through.
My body was in bad shape as well...I got ohss right after retrieval. Was on bed rest till transfer....I got a bfp 8dp5dt and then misscarried that night....had beta done and it was positive but not high at all...went back and numbers back to zero.....I believe it was that and maybe not the egg...but who knows,...this time around my body is in much better shape....I loomed 6 months pregnant for 10 days after retriveal. They even had to give me meds for pain....the exp was not a pleasant one....
