Mason still does, but it "lives in the crib." His blue fuzzy blanket, his lovey, and his pacifier will always "live in the crib." I plan on phasing it out soon, but it he doesn't seem too attached to it.

We are going to get rid of it before Christmas the year when she's 2.5. My friend did this and it was very successful b/c her DD was so excited about Santa she didn't even miss the paci.
Yes, but only for naps/night time (and the airport...I was desperate). He has taken to holding a 2nd pacifier as a lovey, so as soon as I can get him interested in another lovey we'll ditch the pacifiers....hopefully by 18 months.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Hopefully before 2, or whenever he starts to understand a bit more. I plan on saying "oops, paci's broken, no more paci" hahahaha. In my dream he understands this immediately and we're paci free... in reality it will probably be more complicated
Yes, but only in her crib. She kind of phased it out on her own otherwise, but she still needs it to sleep. I am not too concerned about getting rid of it, especially since it is just for sleep. I'll probably let her keep it until she is ready to give it up.
DS loves it, so I only let him have it when he sleeps and if he is really crying. Otherwise he would crawl around all day with it. I'm not concerned about getting rid of it any time in the near future.
DS still uses a paci when he sleep, and I thought we would make it just for the crib, but he seems to be getting attached to it recently. I'm gonna try to take it away when he is awake because he only wants it if he sees it, otherwise he is fine.
Yes, primarily to sleep, or in the car, restaurants etc. We don't let him have it while playing, except the odd time when I need to put him in his play pen for an extended time I.e. more than a minute or two, then I may give it to him to avoid him whining incessantly to get out lol.
ETA: haven't given much thought as to when we will ditch it. Probably by 2..?

this is Harley! She sees points and goes Mmm . Im asking because this weekend I went to the grocery store with my sister... When I got in the car I realized I had her wipes with me.. So as I rummaged through my bad I found her puffs and 6 pacifiers!! Yes 6! We usually have two but she's been playing with them so there are a total of 6 now in toys, kitchen counter, her mouth , her hand. It's a little ridiculous! She doesn't whine or cry for it. But when there's 6 why wouldn't she take one?
Yep, normally just at bed/naptime and occasionally in the car. I wanted to start to phase it out now, but he has also really gotten attached to it lately. He will put my chapstick in his mouth and suck on it (literally crawl the floor sucking on it). His lovely has a long elephant nose and he will also suck on that if given the chance.
I am hoping once the new baby is here we can show him that pacis are for babies and start to wean him that way.
Nope...he weaned himself off of it a while ago, but I sometimes wish that he would take one to sleep...he only ever took soothie pacifiers and didn't ever care if it popped out when he was sleeping. Thankfully he isn't a thumb sucker either, but he does chew on his fingers I think when his gums are sore...

Right now only for naps and bedtime, but I am in the process of trying to get it down to just bedtime.
