I Have Been Too Lazy....(not a rant but something)

to cook dinner or do much of anything lately. All i want to do is sleep and baby seems to enjoy moving around which is fun to finally feel! But the poor rest of my family, I was so lazy the other night for the first time in my life i gave my family microwave dinners!!!!

Is anyone else really tired? I was told 2nd trimester would be much better then first but i am finding i just never want to get off my behind! Our poor daughter just wants to play and both my husband and I are either too tired (hes got an insane work schedule, silly army and i work 2 jobs one to one with 2 children who have severe autism) and I am just exausted and all we want to do is curl up and watch tv and go to sleep haha.

It's making me feel like a bad lazy mommy and wife....any suggestions to get the energy back up!?

  • I don't have any suggestions, but I'm right there with ya. My exhaustion is better than it was in 1st tri (no longer going to bed at 6-7pm!) but my energy level has been lacking during the day. I feel like I do an hour of house work for every three hours on the sofa. lol.

This for me too, although I think the heat has something to do with it. We hosted a huge party yesterday and the temp was 104 in the shade. :/ Fortunately we live on a lake, so I spent a majority of the time in the water with DS, and most of our guests...

  • I agree. I think the heat hasn't helped...at least where we are. 100 plus degrees is enough to wipe anyone out. Thank God for easy prep stuff, and thankfully my kids like quesadillas, yogurt, & grilled cheese!
