Been here for a week and...

...so far so good. We've had a BBQ party, gone to the aquarium, ran a 5k for SD's friend who has cancer, went to the largest fireworks show in Utah, been to the park and splash pad multiple times, and SD and I had some "bonding" time at a concert! She's starting to open up a bit about the domestic issues at BM's house and the mediation/court battle. DH and I have been to counseling twice and received some good advice on how to handle SD's "disclosures" appropriately. It's been a busy, wonderful week. DD is ecstatic to have her sister back and has been relishing every moment!

Mio Marito per Sempre: Married 2009. SD is 12 yrs. DD is 4 yrs.

    I am so incredibly happy that your husband was able to get the Summer visit figured out and that your family is having a good time.  Sometimes happy endings do happen!
