1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His patience, I have none and he has a ton so he keeps me sane most of the time.

2) What was DH like as a baby? His mom says he was a good baby/child. Only cried when he needed changing or was hungry, I really hope this little guy is like that!

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He's excited to have a son to take fishing, and hunting, and skiing.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Skiing, hunting, fishing Give me a book and a nice fire to sit by any day!

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We compromised on his name.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He is probably the nicest and happiest person I have ever met. He bends over backwards to make sure others are happy, and he has been so accommodating to me during this pregnancy. He is awesome at taking care of me when I don't feel good, and like I said he is really patient so he deals with my mood swings generally pretty well.

DH/SO....techinally SO...1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His loyalty. Almost to a fault. With me, friends, family, etc.2) What was DH like as a baby? I have no idea. MIL only says he was a "skinny" kid. Now rides him everytime she sees him because he isn't "tiny" anymore.3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? When he felt the baby move for the first time.....oh...and we first discussed the baby and being more prepared this time around. (He has two older daughters)4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Beers with his friends. The work ones. Their girlfriends and wives do NOT interest me at all. It's the same old same old everytime he goes over there. 5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? YES....our kid will be a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. I'm all Packers....I am giving in on this one.6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH?

SO has been supportive of me not working and tagging along with him. He owns his own business. He enjoys my company and we truely are best friends. He is generous GENEROUS! OH, and did I mention I have been attracted to this guy since I was a teenager. I look at him in awe everyday!

I am thoroughly enjoying these little GTKY activities!

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? I know he would disagree with me over this, but I love how sensitive and tender-hearted he is. He was raised by a group of women, and I think this has a lot to do with it. He is very in tune to my feelings, and would do anything for me (even when I do not deserve it).

2) What was DH like as a baby? His mother tells me that he was a very easy going baby.3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He is just thrilled for the opportunity to be a father. He tells me sometimes that he cannot believe he is having one. I also think he is excited to have a girl. He already tells me she is his princess. He loves to feel her move around.4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Actually, no. Sometimes his video games get on my nerves but I try not to mention it because I know it is a release for him after a long day at work.5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Nope.6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH?

As I said above, he is very attentive to my needs. He respects me, and knows when I need his comfort and when I need to be left alone. He is very honest with me and tells me when I am out of line, which I appreciate. He would never let me go without. If I want or need something and he has the money, then he will do it for me. He looks at me as if I am his entire world. I have had friends come up to me and tell me they only wish their SO looked at them in that way. He is my best friend and my love. I just adore him!

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His supportiveness and how much he makes me laugh.

2) What was DH like as a baby? Not actually sure. I know as a toddler he was active and nicknamed "holy terror," so it's no surprise that our 2 year old has constant energy.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? I think it's still sinking in that we're going to have a second one soon, but I know he's excited to have another boy.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Video games! lol. He actually doesn't play often, but when he does, ugh.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Not so far, but since this is our second, we've figured out a lot of stuff already. With DS#1 we didn't have to compromise too much, just figured out how to do the parenting thing together.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? I could list so many things... Smile #1 thing has to be that he truly treats our marriage like a partnership. He changes as many diapers as I do, cleans as much as I do, and doesn't expect that I'd do certain things because I'm the "wife" and he's the "husband."

Also, He supports me in everything I do in my career and he still tells me I'm beautiful after 11 years of being together.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? Outgoing and funny

2) What was DH like as a baby? Fat and lazy

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? I think he has a hard time getting excited for the baby until it arrives but he is really excited for DS to have a brother to play with. DS loves playing with other kids.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? PS3 CoD. Also, he has a dirt bike but hasn't ridden it in awhile. He actually mentioned selling it this weekend. FX!

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? He knows how much research I do so it is up for what I decide. I do give him options on the big stuff and he has always gone with my top pick. DS's hair is longer than I want it right now. I guess that is a compromise since DH wants to have a little hippy boy.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He is great at his job and a fantastic provider but also manages to be a very hands on dad and husband. He does DS's bath and the dishes every night, lets me sleep in on weekends, and hangs all our laundry.

1) he's incredibly patient and seriously the best dad ever. He does 50% of the work with the kids and works FT.

3) having another girl. He adores DS, obvi, but was really taken aback by how much he fell in love with having a daughter. He was thrilled to find out #3 was another girl!

4) flying. I barf every time I try to go with him.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH?
If he says he's going to do it, then he will.

2) What was DH like as a baby?
So freakin' cute! Little moonshaped eyes and chubby as can be. MIL says he was a very happy baby and always content.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy?
He loves the belly, and rubs on it every chance he gets. He loves feeling him move around in there too!

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy?
He drives a race car and I hate it. He hasn't raced since I got pregnant, but he is racing this weekend. My nerves cannot handle it!

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things?
He pretty much lets me make all the decisions, and when I suggested the name... he loved it. Everything has been great so far. The only thing we're going to have to compromise on is that he thinks our son will be racing motocross at the age of 4. YIKES!

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH?
Oh man, I could go on and on. It sounds cliche, but he's honestly my best friend. I love that we can have such a good time together - and since we are both jokesters, there is never a dull moment in our household! I cannot wait to add a baby in the mix, it's going to be so much fun raising a baby together

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His sense of humor (even though it is pretty similar to a 12 year old boys) and drive/determination.

2) What was DH like as a baby? Hmm no clue. I'm sure a menace.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? The a/s and finding out it is a boy.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? He loves scubadiving and I've never been able to get into it. That's okay though because we enjoy time apart (even on vacation) so it gives him something to do while I'm laying in the sun reading.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Of course, including whether to circumcise or not.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He's one of the most responsible and motivated people I know. It's rubbed off a little on me, so I think that's a good thing. He's also great with kids (typically 3 yr old +) because he's pretty much a kid himself.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? Probably his adventurousness. We met while travelling so it was one of the things that attracted me right away that he was interested in having new experiences. 2) What was DH like as a baby? Not sure temperament wise. He had some health problems and needed surgery as a baby so that's mostly what I've heard about from his mom.3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He loves to feel/watch LOs movements, which is so cute. 4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Watching Sports Center in the morning over breakfast (I love sports, hate Sports Center...). He likes video/computer games but he doesn't play excessively so I don't mind so much. He collects stamps, too, but that doesn't bug me--I actually think it's really cute (I just have no interest/knowledge).5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things?I guess I probably would have gone for a home birth but he was much more comfortable with being in a hospital (assisted by our midwives). He felt very strongly about it, so I figured if it would put him at ease it was better this way. 6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH?

He is extremely loyal, and I can tell he carries a strong sense of responsibility for taking care of our family (sometimes I think he puts too much pressure on himself in this regard, actually). He's very trusting, too. I feel like I can really have "my own life," my own hobbies, friends, etc, but it doesn't really matter because we enjoy spending a lot of time together anyway. 1. I LOVE that he is ambitious and goal oriented.

2. No clue! In- laws are private and don't provide details about his childhood.

3. He was excited to hear the heart beat and help set up the nursery.

5. The name- every name I LOVE he is not a fan of. I gave up the name Henry since dh didn't like it.

6. He is truly my best friend and makes me a better person. We have done things together that I never imagined I would do.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? - He's hardworking and caring.

2) What was DH like as a baby? - I have no clue. I really need to ask his mom about this. Normally they talk about him when he was older and his brother was there.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? - Mostly feeling the baby move. She loves to kick her dad.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? - Working outside all the time. Our house has a lot of landscaping and he love to work out there. Me, especially now, it's a no.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? - I think most things are a compromise. We just try to think about what's best for the baby and go from there. We are FT Parents so who knows if we are doing anything right.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? - He honestly sees a goal and will always do everything he can to reach it. When it comes to his family we are first priority. He worked at getting a promotion so he would have the weekends off and could be there for the baby. If his parents need anything we try our best to be there for them. He even treats my family the same way. I would go on and on about other things, but who wants to hear that?

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His laid-back attitude and sense of humor. It balances me out and makes me laugh. He is also one of the most loyal people I know.

2) What was DH like as a baby? His mom always said he was an angel baby.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He's excited to have a playmate for our DD and take naps with the teeny one again.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Soccer (sidelined by an Achilles rupture during my 1st tri with DD), though I enjoy going to watch the weekend matches and get English/Irish breakfast. He took up cycling after the Achilles injury and I hate bikes.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We haven't had to yet. We would have been compromising on timing of this pregnancy, but LO had other ideas, so she called that shot.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He is an amazing dad and a very affectionate husband. He wants nothing more than to make sure our family is happy, comfortable and spoiled. He works really hard to make it all happen and turns around to spend quality time with us.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? very ambitious and intelligent so good stuff to pass down to the kiddos.

2) What was DH like as a baby? Hmm ill have to ask him, from what I gather he was pretty happy and chill just like DS

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy?That it is another boy

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy?Ugh DIABLO 3 YOU ARE THE DEVIL!

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Yeah the only thing that we disagree or jury is still out on is whether this is the last pregnancy or not. I want a 3rd...he wants to be done

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He think im hot and tells me all the time even when im the size of a whale, makes me feel glorious and he thinks im funny, cracks up at my nerdy jokes

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His sense of humor

2) What was DH like as a baby? laid-back, as he is to this day

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? I think just being a dad again. : )

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? He's a filmmaker, both by trade and for a hobby. I definitely support him and love how much he loves doing it, but it's not something I do myself. I will help out when needed, but it's not an activity that we really do together.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Our biggest compromise will be on the name...which will remain TBD until birth. DD didn't have a name for about 24 hours.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? For the past six weeks, he's been working pretty much constantly, only taking breaks to eat and sleep (sometimes). He just started his own business in October and he's brought on a ton of new clients recently, so he's crazy-busy at his job. When he's not doing that, he's working on renovations of our house so that we can move into the bigger apartment (we own a two-unit building) before the baby arrives (right now DD and I are staying with my parents). He's done almost everything himself; I help when I can, but there's only so much I can do being so pregnant in the heat and in a 140-year-old house. All that, and the only thing he complains about is how much he misses DD and me.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH?

He is a very hard worker, his job entails living in camp, hiking through the bush everyday for 60-100 days in a row, no matter what the weather. -45C to 45c (i believe is -49 f to 113f). Very rarely does he actually complain.

2) What was DH like as a baby?

Im not really sure, i haven't heard any horror stories so can't have been that bad.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy?

He was excited when we first found out, about becoming a day. His eyes light up when he felt the first kick with his hand. The very first kick he felt he had his head on my stomach and he was kicked in the ear, we both laughed over it.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy?

His computer games, he will play ALL day if he can.. He isn't able to play them much when is at work, and once baby is here he will be helping me out so i let it go. But i could walk around naked with a purple Mohawk and he wouldn't notice lol.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things?

The name, everything else ive been researching and picking out. For the larger items i let him make the final decision between my top picks. I have free range to decorating as he could really care less what the nursery looks like.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH?

I really can't see myself being with anyone else. I dont want to say it was 'love at first site' but we met at a party i was instantly attracted to him, and once he saw me he came up to me and we starting talking, and have been together ever since. He always makes me laugh, even when im trying to have a 'grumpy day'. He is a great provider. Becomes my nurse if i am sick. He is so good with his nephew, i can't wait to see how he is as a father.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His humor - he literally cracks me up to the point of tears almost daily. Also his ability to move beyond arguments. He never drags out a fight or gets bent out of shape.

2) What was DH like as a baby? No idea, his mom tells me he was not happy unless he was in a swing

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? EVERYTHING. He's ecstatic!

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Hunting

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Pretty much everything, we haven't had one argument yet

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He balances me so well! I can be a bit high maintenance and he always has this ability to put things in perspective. He's down to earth and wholesome, and he truly will be an amazing dad!

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? He is so patient and loving (both with me and DS).

2) What was DH like as a baby? Haven't heard much about him as an actual baby - his parents say he was a sweet little boy, though, and I've seen some home video that seems to prove that.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? Hmm. It's definitely not as much of a thrill as the first (nothing is new), but he is still cute about saying goodnight to baby, has gone to almost all of the appointments, etc. He's definitely excited to find out what it is, and for DS to have a sibling.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Hmm. He golfs, which I don't, but I don't mind it. We do a lot of things together - both football fans, like to hike, watch movies, wine taste.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Well, the only one that comes to mind is that he wanted to find out the sex, and I didn't. We are Team Green, so again, you can see that he's very sweet and accommodating to me

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He is THE best Dad I could have ever hoped for for our children. He's also honest, hardworking, and could not be better to me. I wouldn't say that he "treats me like a princess" in terms of spoiling me (we also don't have the money for that right now as he's in law school full time) but is very thoughtful and giving. I've been complaining for months that I hated our house's dark wood trim (floorboards, mouldings, etc) and wished we could paint them white. When I was on vacation for a week with my parents (he couldn't go) I came home to a WHOLE new house - he had been painting the entire time. So sweet.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? He can fix anything and takes the time to figure out how to do it right.

2) What was DH like as a baby? DH's baby book mentions his temper a few times and that he didn't let his 2 older brothers push him around!

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He likes to feel the big kicks and movement. He also likes rubbing and talking to the belly.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? I don't normally turn the TV on but it is the first thing DH does when he comes home.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We are on the same page so far but I wish we could compromise on a name!

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He is a great dad to my SS and always tries to make our family time special. He has been extra sweet to me lately with lots of yummy treats and back rubs!

1) DH is really logical and patient. I feel like I really need that because I'm so Type-A and obsessive about things and he reminds me that it's not the end of the world.

2) MIL says DH was fussy. He would not nap ever (and he still won't take a nap even if he doesn't sleep the night before) and when he was a toddler, he'd get so upset when his brother messed up his things.

3) DH has been excited about the video monitor and the new camera we bought to take pictures of the baby (he's a gadget type of guy). He also picked out the name, which surprised me, but I'm thankful because none of my favorites were working. Also, Legos. I'm pretty sure he's going to buy our kid every cool Lego set he never got as a child.

4) DH could sit and read random blogs and articles (mostly tech-stuff) on his iPad all day. He also rides his bike on occasion, and I'm not one for bike riding. The rest of our interests are pretty similar.

5) We're compromising on circumcision, and I'm pretty sure he's just agreeing to try cloth diapers because I want to.

6) DH is so fun, and his personality balances mine so nicely. Even though he doesn't think the things I think about/obsess about are a big deal, he respects that I'm going to think about them and helps me plan things out so that I can relax. I think our child will be lucky to have a nice combination of parent personalities.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His ability to make me and everyone happy. He is a magnent like that. He walks into a room and you just smile.

2) What was DH like as a baby? Horrible! I am secretly hoping our LO is like me. DH had terrible colic and jaundis. Add on top that he never slept and was just a plain grump till he was 3 unless he was with his mom or in his high chair. Not looking forward to that part!!

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? Almost everything. It took a while because he was having a hard time with not being able to experience things with me. At our first u/s when he got to see LO and hear the heartbeat I saw his face and I knew he was excited!

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Hunting, Fishing, RC (radio car) Racing

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We haven't had to compromise on anything actually we have just clicked on everything and been in sync. I am loving it. No fights yet!!

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? We balance each other out. He brings me down to earth when I get tangled up in something. He has an odd personality but it is going to be so awesome to see him with his son. I can't wait!!

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? He is hands-down one of the kindest people I have ever known in my life. He is pretty outstanding.

2) What was DH like as a baby? From what I hear, he was a good baby.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? Oh, yes. He's super-excited.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Watching sports. Ew. He also golfs and I don't.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We've been very agreeable in terms of the baby. I can't think of a single thing that we haven't easily agreed on.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? A better question would be what makes him a bad DH, because the answer would be nothing.

He will do just about anything for me, because that's just how he is. As I said, he's very kind. He's also incredibly patient, and he seems to find me pretty special too, so that's nice.

1) He is, hands down, the funniest person I've ever met. He keeps me in stitches no matter what's going on, and laughing through life is a good way to do it .

2) Didn't know him then... but MIL said he was pretty laid back.

3) He's more excited than I am to do the nursery right now!

4) He golfs, and I don't, but that leaves me time for spa-related activities and yoga. He recently picked up road biking, which is actually my favorite outdoor activity, and I can't wait till we can do it together next year.

5) No big compromises so far. I made the registry; he tweaked it. DD will be named after his grandmother (FN) and mine (MN). His big request was to purchase the remote control recliner; I was fine with that. My big request was to do cloth diapers; he supports that.

6) DH is always super appreciative of everything I do, and he makes it a point to tell me so (I do the same with him). It's nice to be married to someone who continually acknowledges the good in you. I truly got it right this time!

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? He doesn't let things bother him like I do and he doesn't care what people think about him. He lives his life the way he wants to and I love that about him. I wish I could be more like him in this way.

2) What was DH like as a baby? His mom always tells me he would just sit in his swing all the time when he wasn't eating or sleeping. He didn't want to be bothered he just loved his swing. He went through 3 of them. Lol

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He has gotten excited about getting to meet him. He said he can't wait to hold him and see what he looks like.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Monday night Raw..... Enough said! It doesn't really bother me but it gets old real quick. I don't mind watchinhg it every once in a while with him but the story line gets so predictable. Lol.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? Not really we agree on most things when it comes to baby.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He has been there for me since before we even started dating! We were best friends for a long time. I couldn't picture my life without him. He has always been a part of me in some way and I am glad I said yes! He's the best because he cares about me a lot and would do anything for me and anyone else he cares for! He is so polite!

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? My favorite qualities about him are the ones that only come out once in a blue moon, like his romantic side, but when they do, it is so very special.

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? That it's a boy. I wanted a girl, he wanted a boy, and he got what he wanted, even though I was SO SURE that it was a girl.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? He loves listening to loud, screamy, heavy music and going to said shows, and I just have no interest. I love all music, but I love to sing, and if I can't understand the words, then I don't like the song.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? So far just on the name. We have a few parenting related things that we're a little opposed about, but that's in the future, and we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? Because even though he tries to act all macho and hard and callous, he really does have such a great heart and love him for it more than I can stand.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? His loyalty! 20 years together and I'm never worried he's up to no good.

2) What was DH like as a baby? Extremely active...crawling out of his crib, getting into everything and keeping my MIL on her toes!

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? Feeling our little guy kick the first time got him pretty fired up. He loves to rub my belly.

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? Ummm yeah. We are total opposites! He loves to surf, scuba dive, motorcycle ride (street and off road), and he's about to try skydiving in a couple of weeks. I'm a runner, reader, and scrapbooker.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We both compromise on everything. We discuss things and work it out.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He's just awesome! He makes me feel special, loved, respected...ok getting teary at work here...let's just say he's amazing and call it good.

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? He laughs at all my silliness and he is just as silly as me!

2) What was DH like as a baby? I've only heard a few stories but one is that he used to walk around in the grocery store at the age of 2 eating a jalapeno in his diaper and tshirt.......love it

3) What has DH gotten excited about during your pregnancy? He is REALLY excited about being a daddy and doing all the father/son stuff like 1st baseball game, etc

4) Does DH have any hobbies you don't enjoy? No we both really love sports, I might say his baseball addiction is far beyond anything I can comprehend, but I do like baseball and keep up with what's going on from day to day.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? We are both compromising a little in a few areas, but we have both realized that the compromise was much better than our own idea anyway.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? Because he worked a bunch of overtime last week and instead of getting a little something special for himself he got me a portable air conditioner for our bedroom so for the few weeks it gets hot here in the NW I will be comfortable. LOVE HIM! Yes

1) What's your favorite quality in your DH? He's resourceful. He has a way of always finding an innovative way to tackle a problem or design something cool.

2) What was DH like as a baby? MIL claims he NEVER cried and was super calm. I think she's full of sh*t bc he's not a super calm adult.

5) Are you compromising on any baby-related things? not that I can think of right now, but there may be something.

6) Brag on your DH here. Why is he the best DH? He makes me laugh. He's a great dad. Even though we have different ways of handling some situations, I know he's got my back in the end. And see #1.
