Financial question-CA ladies, help me please!

So DH and I have a wonderful son and we are ready to have another baby. The only hiccup we have is the added cost of insurace and daycare. We both work full time :-( so we are on the higher end of the income guidelines for AIM/Healthy Familes (but might squeek by, I'm looking into it) and we don't qualify for MediCal or Changing Tides (daycare cost assistance). I don't have insurance through work and our son is on my husbands ins but adding me is not really and option financally cause it would be almost 1/2 his monthly income going to ins.

Do any of you ladies have any advice? Are there other programs that could help? Any ideas in general? TIA!!

  • This is going to sound completly harsh and I dont mean it to but, if you cant afford another child then why would plan on having one? Shouldnt state benefits be used for people who need them because of their situations? Maybe look at different careers or jobs before planning on relying on the state?
