Pregnant after a Loss

Almost 7 weeks, still no symptoms

Hi Everybody,

I know this is posted all the time, so I apologize for my minor freak out this morning caused by my PGAL brain.  During my 1st pregnancy (successful) and 2nd (m/c), i had *extreme* nausea and food aversions.  I know it definitely started before around 6 weeks. I'm almost 7 weeks, and i have nothing.  No boob tenderness, no nausea, nothing.  This morning, i am totally freaking out about it, probably because my 1st u/s is scheduled for this Thursday.  I feel like i just *know* it's not going to be good.

I know "every pregnancy is different", etc. etc. but any positive thoughts for this week or any encouraging personal stories would be appreciated.

I know you ladies understand what i'm going through, and i appreciate you letting me vent.  Hugs to all.

Re: Almost 7 weeks, still no symptoms

  • With DS, I never had a single symptom. Literally. As you can see in my siggy, he came out alright ;-)

With this one, I dont know there is a symptom I havent had other than hemorrhoids....lol

  • Don't worry just try to relax until your u/s. My 1st pregnancy ended at 6 weeks and I had sore heavy boobs and nausea. This pregnancy I had no sore boobs and only nausea from 7 1/2 weeks to 9 weeks maybe and it was extremely mild. I was very worried when it went away at 9 weeks and had to wait until my 12 week appt and thought for sure the ob wasnt going to find a hb with the doppler and he did :) Best wishes on your u/s, maybe try and get it moved up if possible, just for peace of mind.

  • Hey - totally understand how you feel. We want symptoms to feel like things are progressing. I had no symptoms at all my 1st trimester (a little tired...but that doesn't even count) - and at 18 weeks and growing.

Best wishes. Enjoy that your LO is being so kind. :)
