Re: Carolina conceptions vs Duke fertility

  • I have no experience with DF, but I love CC. The office staff is so friendly, they always remember you. I've never waited more than a few minutes. I've been working with Dr. Myer, he's really great about explaining things and ensuring I understand what plan we're taking.

The nurses call back quickly, with well thought out answers and are just really nice. I also took a class on "how to shoot yourself" :) and that nurse was great too. I really have nothing but great things to say about CC.

  • I see Dr. Walmer and plan to follow him. No experience with CC. I'd probably go with most convenient location.

  • I LOVE Dr Copeland at Duke Fertility! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She's also had m/c's-so she was very compassionate when I had mine and I felt like she could understand what I was going through.

MrsLee-I can't believe she's leaving with Dr Walmer to open the new clinic! This was the first I'd heard of it! Thanks for sharing! OP-I would follow Copeland to the new clinic if I still needed her services-that's how much I liked her!!

  • I'm going to CC right now and I absolutely love them.  Everyone is so friendly there and the doctors are great.  I don't think I've ever waited, but a minute there.  In fact I keep bringing a book just in case and I never get a chance to open it up.  I was referred to CC from a friend and I'm definitely glad I went there. :)

  • I'm a patient at CC and I've had a pretty good experience.  I don't think the office staff is particularly friendly as some have said, but I really like the doctors.  I primarily see Dr. Park and he's great.  I like Dr. Myer too.  Dr. Couchman (sp?) is ok, but she's a little rough around the edges.

I hadn't been in a few months because we were taking a break and so when I called to schedule an appointment I'm now considered a new patient (its only been 6 months) and I have to wait for a new patient appointment which is kind of silly in my opinion.

  • I've been to Duke and CC.  I left Duke b/c I really wasn't clicking with them.  I saw Dr. Price.

I love CC.  The staff is wonderful and they are great about responding to emails so you don't have to play phone tag with the doctors and nurses.  I primarily see Dr. Park and can't say enough wonderful things about him.

  • I haven't posted in a while on this board.  I see all the doctors at Carolina Conceptions.  I have seen Dr. Park twice this week.  The office staff and doctors are awesome.  They are always available to answer any questions.  I got pregnant with my daughter on the first try and am trying for #2.  It has been a pretty rough road as I am currently suffering from a loss.  But they have been so supportive through this whole thing with me this month.  I def recommend CC to everyone that needs their services.

  • I also go to CC and they are terrific. I went to them for baby #1, just up and took myself there as i didn't think I was getting all I needed from my OB. And I took myself back there for baby #2. I've seen all doctors and Dr. Park and Dr. Meyer are my favorite. Dr. Park has been our main doctor and really understood we didn't want to rush into anything as we weren't wanting to up our chances for twins. I think they are a great practice! :) I've reccomended 4 friends there and all have been happy and left with babies! :)
