So we have decided to do sesame street theme for DD's 1st birthday and we are getting the cake from a grocery store bakery. The only problem is that I don't like the design they have out right now. Its of Elmo and Big Bird in cars. I asked the lady and she said they could do a simple design depending on what it is but I havent seen any other simple sesame street cakes. I tried googling cake decorating kits or figurines that i could buy to put on it but I'm not having any luck. Anyone seen any sesame street cakes lately? Or if you did a sesame street party can you PIP the cake you had??
TIA!!
Re: Sesame street cake help!
Party City has a whole section of Sesame Street 1st birthday stuff. Specifically for cakes, they have candles (https://www.partycity.com/product/sesame+street+1st+birthday+candle.do?sortby=ourPicks&size=all&from=Search&navSet=sesame+street) and an Elmo-shaped pan.
I've seen a lot of cupcakes that are really cute - have you looked on Pinterest? I saw cute cupcakes on there, as well as a simple Cookie Monster cake https://diylouisville.blogspot.ca/2012/02/sesame-street-party.html (I searched for "sesame street party.")
