Face punch

My DD smacks her head and face with her hands when she's eating and fighting sleep.. I have to hold them down sometimes because she will knock her paci out or scratch her face. (she still wears hand mittens at night because of this and she's 2 1/2 months old.. Also I file her nails down as far as I can) Anyone else's baby obssessed with smacking themselves? I think maybe she's just obsessed with her hands?? She plays in her hair sometimes which is adorable but I hate it when she scratches herself.
I give up on trying to make a ticker.... this new bump format is for the birds...

    Willow was scratching her eyes out now she holds her hands over her eyes like she is playing hide and seek or peek a boo. She also pulls her hair out.

    Yes, mine too.  They don't have that much control over their hands yet.. I don't think my DS1 grew out of it until closer to 6 months..?

    Lily rubs her eyes - I think it's cute, but Linz was a total face puncher until she was about 4 or 5 months old... then she started punching the air instead...

    Haha this literally made me laugh out loud!! I can totally see Ellie punching the air
