Ok so long story short I had a leap procedure done years ago( it takes a small layer of your cervix off do to abnormal cells) and so my Dr is doing a few cervical measurements. I just had one done on Sat. and they found that I had partial placenta previa. My Dr says there is a good chance it will move as my uterus does. What I have read, is there is a 95% chance it will just go away.
So my question is... Have any of you ever had this and if so did it clear up the farther along you got? And if not any advice?
Re: Partial Previa...
I had a low-lying placenta; not covering the cervix, but close enough that they put me on pelvic precautions (which my midwife later poo-pooed as unnecessary for how far away mine was. I had already served 6 weeks, so I was really annoyed!!). Mine moved away no problem; at the next u/s it was up high, in perfect position.
GL!
I have complete previa..I've been out of work for 3 weeks now because of it. (my job is physically demanding)
From all of the research I did if it's partial there is a great chance that it will correct itself. Your doctor is aware of it so just do whatever they tell you and I'm sure everything will work out beautifully. Good luck to you!
