One hard-ass parent (LIP)

Something someone said at work the other day reminded me of this page I saw a long time ago.  I don't know if it's real or not, but I don't care.  I can't decide if this is awesome or just a little too mean, but I'm leaning towards awesome, because this kid sounds like a total turd, and I hope he learned from it.

    OMG, that's hilarious! If my kid kicked my expensive-ass equipment I'd probably do the same thing.

    My parents did something similar to me once when I got in trouble about a week before Christmas.  My mom had told me that I was getting a CD/DVD burner for my computer for Christmas.  After I got in trouble, she sold the burner to one of her friends and kept the box.  All I got for Christmas that year was an empty box with a note about how disappointed my parents were with me.  I definitely learned my lesson.

    I think the coal thing is childish, but not cruel. If it were me, I would sale or return his gifts and donate the money to an organization for the needy in his name. His gift for Christmas, would the be the gift of giving.
