Just wondering if you could share any tips for a speedy recovery. I had nose surgery several years ago and took a lot of homeopathic remedies and I healed super quick. Did any of you turn to homeopathic or natural remedies for your recovery?
I did not but the key is to get up and walk as soon as possible.
My c-section was at 11pm and by 8 the next morning my nurse had me doing laps around the hospital. And I know I didn't want to take the pain meds but honestly, you will need them so you should take them before the pain gets debilitating.
And when the drs. tell you to take it easy, listen to them. I felt 85% by 2 weeks and 100% by 4 weeks post c-section.

I had a really fast recovery. I would definitely recommend getting up and walking as soon as possible -- I was walking around within 5 hours of surgery. You may not need any narcotic pain killers either -- I only had to take ibuprofen in the hospital and at home. And, I would recommend a belly binder.
