Best Toddler Park - apple valley, lakeville

Looking for a good toddler park. It doesn't have to be big or fancy, just fun!

 

Bonus points for the park being not so busy and has some shade.

    we are on the border of Burnsville, lakeville, apple valley, so Burnsville would work too!

    Cliff Fen Park has a lot of shade and the park is designed as a castle. I'm sure it's friendly enough for a toddler to play. The park is located off Cliff Road in Burnsville just a little ways past Northern Tools and the new Wal-Mart. I took my son here about a week ago and he loved the park - we were also the only people there at 9 am on a week day.

    In Apple Valley we go to Kelley Park (off Galaxie Road behind the Home Depot) because there is both a playground AND a splash pad. Great park, but gets very busy.
