For those of you who are members of the group, or have left due to drama... A new group was started.. Support only, no drama, no "rules" and forums.. Inquire if interested.
I hope you are able to successfully moderate your new subgroup. It would really concern me if I were the moderator and found out people were blocking the entire administrative panel. Would sure make one wonder what they were trying to hide. Those are nuances I'm sure you'll figure out. Wish you the best trying to define what is hurtful without being so sensitive as to create an environment where every topic is taboo because there is no "safe" response. That, together with members whose primary concern is how rarely they're allowed to post, doesn't make for a lively group, and interest will wane. I'm sorry that the attempt at advice was done with less grace than I might have preferred, but everyone has their own voice, and I personally prefer a group of women who will tell me when there is schmutz on my face. Best to you and yours.
I'll join! I feel bad I started a group on cafemom.. But life go busy.. 5 year old and newborn! I am all about no drama. I am a mod for a FB group for my ODS.. Amazing group of mamas! We've been together per 6 years now! Would love a group for YDS too!
sheesh I never even knew anything like that was going on! I knew there was a group but never went on over. I am pretty content to just post on here but may come and check it out.
The group is "secret"... Private message me on here and I'll give information... with a secret group you have to be invited by a group member, this was only done for privacy and protection of members, so pictures of LOs and personal info wasn't spread around the Internet.

...which you cannot guarantee because apparently there's always a risk that someone will get offended, leave the circle of trust, and make up their own rules after sensitive info has been shared. This has opened my eyes to the vulnerabilities of even a closed group with an entire moderator panel. I guess that's a silver lining to the sad situation. We had all really let our guard down. So thanks for opening my eyes, K.
