Hi ladies! We are leaving for a trip on Wednesday, and I'm looking for tips on traveling with DS (I'm a FTM). It will be my husband, my parents, and my brother all traveling with us, so I should have plenty of help and extra suitcase space for everything DS needs. We'll be gone 5 days and staying in a rental house. I don't really have any specific questions, just wondering if any of you have traveled with your LO and have suggestions on things I should / should not do and items to bring?? TIA!
Re: Flying with LO
I traveled on a plane with DD and husband when she was 6 weeks old for a 5 day trip with nights in a rental house and at a family member's house. She was actually easiest to manage when we were on the plane. We brought her diaper bag on the plane and gate checked her snap&go and car seat. During take off and landing, I nursed her, unless she was sleeping and then I'd just let her sleep. One thing I brought that was such a help was a neck pillow to use to support her on our laps. That way your arms will get a break. It was like a mini boppy!
