  Our jumper has been collecting dust for months.  DD would much rather cruise the furniture then be stuck somewhere.  It's very normal at this age.  It's important for them to crawl, explore and learn how to stand and cruise.

  Yes, my DD used to be able to spend (actually insisted on spending!) tons of time in hers, and now she only uses it a few minutes a day at best. Like PP said, they are exploring more, more mobile, etc.

  DD started walking by 9 months, so we were done with the jumparoo around 8 months. You are exactly correct in that the more mobile they are the less confinement they like.

  I think we out it away around 9-10 months.  She was reaching the weight limit for it.

  We stopped using it at 9 months when she reached the height limit. They are not supposed to be able to stand flat footed in it.

  DD was done with the jumperoo by about 7-8 months old. Does he sit up or crawl? Then you don't need to worry about being upright or strengthening his legs and if he crawls I'm sure he hates being confined.
