Talk to me about reusable swim diapers please. I have a 22 month old and a 5 month old. We don't go actually swimming that often. But we do play in the sprinkler, water table, and go to the beach occasionally. I am wondering if buying reusable swim diapers might be the way to go.
Also we are thinking of doing a swim lesson once a week in the fall for about 6 weeks with both girls. I am not sure if the pool allows reusable swim diapers or if there even rules about that.
TIA!!!
Re: Reusable Swim Diapers?
We've been using reusable diapers since having kids. I think they work just fine (my are bummies brand). I'm sure your pool allows them... the only requirement I've ever seen is "must wear swim diaper if not potty trained." We've used them in our yard, at the pool and at the beach.
And also, swim diapers only hold poop not pee.
We have these in varying sizes and colors. The older four children take swim lessons and the facilities policy is that they need to wear two (2) reusable swim diapers until the age of four (weather they are potty trained or not). I'm not sure if this is universal rule or not.

Swim diapers do not hold pee (they only hold poop), not sure if that was a typo, just didn't want anyone to make that mistake!
True. But if you get the iplay brand they also hold pee. So you can put them on your child before going to the pool and not worry about them wetting the carseat or anything.
