Babies running out of room?

can twins come earlier than thirty seven weeks becuase they run out of room? we have a scheduled c section for thirty seven weeks six days but im wondering if twins can come earlier simply becuase they run out of room and your body says im done.

sorry for the poor sentence structure and grammar, im on my phone so i cant type numbers or symbols.

    I don't think can run out of room.  Your abdomen will just stretch to accommodate the size of the babies.  If they are ready to come they will come on their own.

    I was amazed at how much baby my uterus could handle. I was measuring 50 weeks when I delivered and the boys had a combined weight of 16.5lbs. I do think it depends on your body, but it can definitely handle more than you would think.

    Yes, your body can decide its done and go into preterm labor.

    That's what happened to me. My water broke out of the blue at 35 weeks 3 days, and my girls were delivered via c-section a few hours later. I think it pretty much only happens if the babies are fully baked, though.

    My ute gave out at 32w when my water broke. They were both head down from 25w on. DD came out with a dent in her head from being against DS's head. DS had metatarsus adductus done to gestational positioning. DD's head resolved without intervention, but DS needed a cast for two weeks and special shoes for a few months when he was an infant.

    Yes, DS was twin a and was basically a pretzel from week 30 on as DD took up all the space. They couldn't reconfirm his gender at my 30 week ultrasound because of how squished he was. I never had an issue at all throughout my pregnancy until I went into PTL at 33 w 5 d.

    Ditto this.  To an extent I think they can run out of room, but your body is really capable of some amazing things.  Have you even seen a pic of Kate from J&K+8?  She got so much bigger by the time she delivered than any of us twin mom's would ever get.
