Well that was.....fun...oh, and BPF

Last night I was having strong cramps that made me very uncomfortable. Today, I was having the same but didn't think anythign of them. I figured it was M stretching and moving and putting pressure on me.
During my NST I had 7 contractions during the 20-25 min duration. The Dr said they were no big deal because he didn't know I could feel them. When I said I did, his whole face changed. He "ordered" me to go home, lay down and drink water. If I had more than 10 in an hour to call and go to the hospital.
I went home, laid down and had 8 in 30 min. So to L&D I went. Waited 30 min to be called back, another 20 to be seen by the nurse and an hour to get my IV.
They pumped me with a liter of fluid but the contractions were still every 3-5 min so they gave me a shot of Terbutilane. They stopped but on my way home they started again. I'm off my feet for the night and on modified bed rest for a week.
They said that before 39 weeks they wont do anything to help progress labor unless I have cervical change. I'm 50% effaced, 1cm and long. His head is no where near my cervix so she had to push on my belly to get him down enough to feel it. OW
This was me at my Dr's this morning. I'm glad I actually shaved, put hairspray in and did make-up. Made me not feel as grungy at the hospital.

Sounds like you had quite the day. I'm glad you were able to go home, and I hope the bed rest does the trick to keep him in there for a little longer. Love the picture you look great.
