I typically post over on 2IF but figured I might get quicker/more responses here...
I'm 2 days late (yes, I know for sure... via ultrasound, bloodwork and OPK for exact O date!) and have been testing with Wondfos. For S&G I took out a Target FRER I bought a while ago. Mother effer turned out to be friggin blue dye! Anyway, of course I get a positive on that. So, using the same pee (I PIAC) I dipped a Wondfo... negative. And seeing as how I would be throwing out the rest of the Target tests because they are blue dye, I used the other one in the box. Positive!
Of course I'll be going out to get the real deal FRER, but I was wondering if you:
a) ever heard of two false negatives in a row using the same urine
b) would trust the Wondfo exclusively
c) tell me to STFU (that's ok, too!)
Thanks ladies. I'm so pissed that they even make blue dye anymore, and don't tell you on the damn box!
Update #1: Got two very faint positives at 7pm on FRER
Update #2: Started spotting
Will test again tomorrow. Do I call RE if it is still positive? I'm not sure if he'll want to put me on progesterone. Do I call RE if it is still positive and I'm still spotting/bleeding? It would all be an on-call "emergency" call....
Re: What the fluck? Help please...Update #2
could be you are KTFU, and the wonfo did not detect it? Only advice is to wait it out and keep testing.
Also, if you are 2 days late wouldn't the wonfos (or any HPT) be positive?
ETA: duplicate post
This is what I think, too... but I figured I'd ask. I am thinking the blue dye are just mind effing me. So much for saving a few bucks and buying the store brand! After 17 months of this crap I'm probably just losing my damn mind.

Thanks Clec. These were the generic UP&UP (Target) so the box was all white and green. That should have been a clue.

CD34... my longest cycle ever was 35 days. I'm 15 dpo. I tried to take a pic but the lines aren't very dark on my phone... but showed up within 30 seconds and are still there.
ETA- fun fact: I have a "negative" setting on my phone to take pics. The control lines glowed neon yellow, the test lines did not. So I'm assuming this is DEFINITELY a false positive! Bastards!

If you call tomorrow, is it still an emergency line? Calling tonight probably won't make a difference, and spotting isn't uncommon in early pregnancy. I would call tomorrow and see if they want you to come in for betas/progesterone draw or just wait it out.
Hey Shay! I think so, they don't technically have Saturday hours, but do for things like emergencies and IVF/IUI related things. But I'm thinking spotting plus not knowing if I need progesterone is a good reason, right?
