Holy Poopy, Batman!

Really, does anyone know how to get poop out of clothes?  I feel like LO has super poop or something!  It doesnt matter what I do, diaper on too tight, too lose, too small, too big, poop just seems to make its way out and onto her clothes!  I quickly get any remnants off the clothes, spray them and get them in cold water with detergent to soak...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.  Any suggestions, cause I would rather not have her clothes ruined in the event I have another little girl at some point in my life! TIA!!

  • I heard that drying them in the sun works, but haven't tried it myself so I can't be sure.  Worth a shot though.

  • If you're EBF, laying them in the sun works like magic!  I rinse off as much as I can, spray with Oxiclean, launder normally and then lay in the sun for a couple of hours.  I've never had it not work.

  • Also, if your DD is always leaking, you might try a different brand (we had TONS of leaks with Huggies but almost none with Pampers) or going up a size (that's usually when I can tell DS needs to go up a size - it's rarely based on the weight limits on the box and more based on how they fit him and contain poop).
