I'm 41 weeks today and so ready to be done with this. Huge kudos to you ladies who can wait it out until 42. I took the induction as soon as it was offered to me. I just don't trust my body to get going without a kick. It has 10 hours to get going on its own, or we head into the hospital tonight to get the process started.
I'm so excited to be joining the outside-baby-club. I already feel so prepared from reading about everyone who's already had their baby. I've mostly lurked until recently just because being on the tail end of the month means everyone is going through things ahead of me and most of the things that came up for me had already been asked and answered before I ran into them.
Is anyone else here still pregnant? How are you holding up?
Re: Induction tonight - anyone else still pregnant?
Congrats! As a fellow inductee (sounds way more prestigious than it was) I recommend hounding the staff for frequent cervical checks.
I went from 1.5 to 8 cm in about an hour and they all acted shocked. I had to ask them to check me because I was convinced I could feel it happening.
Just remember to be assertive about what you need and want. Congrats! on making it to the finish line- you can do it
I'm not still pregnant...we finally welcomed our LO on Saturday after an induction. I just wanted to say good luck as a fellow mom who was induced. Don't feel bad about wanting to be induced a 41 weeks....I was 40 weeks and 5 days along when my doctor induced me. I had a good experience....the waiting in the hospital was the worst part, but once he arrived it was all worth it!!
Good luck!

Still pregnant here - induction is set for Tues morning. I will be 42w 1d. I really wanted to give my body the fair chance to do this naturally... I am kind of regretting not scheduling it for today. The baby still has not engaged into the birth canal. I'm miserable.
But congrats on your LO arriving soon. Wish you all the best!
