  • The one thing I learned after my first was to get some kind of support belly band because my guts felt like they were falling out!!

Good luck tomorrow and congratulations!!  Hope you get a good nights rest and enjoy your new bundle!

  • Get a step stool for next to the bed.  I never got one and if i ever have another cs, that's first on the list.

  • I'm a little late to the party here, but congrats on the birth of your baby!  When you pick up/hold your toddler post c-section, make sure you point toddler's legs away from your incision.  One good kick and you'll be hurting bad.

Also, don't leave the hospital early, no matter how tempting it may be.  Stay and bond with your newest little one and get some rest.

  • Get up and eat a snack at 11:30 the night before. With both of my children I was on a clear liquid diet while in the hospital for three days (delivery day plus two more in recovery).
