My little one was blessed with a lot of hair. Its getting long and
close to being in her eyes. I'm afraid to use barrettes, because if
they fall out, and she puts them in her mouth, she could choke on them.
Any suggestions/ideas?
My baby hates the hair on her ears we use little barrettes with bows she rips them out but the are too big to really get anywhere down her throat. I think I am just going to start using Hair spray to keep it in place.
Is a trim out of the question. We had a DS but his hair was so long, also blessed with lots of hair and I finally broke down and took him for a hair cut and he seems so relieved it's out of his eyes. I know for a girl it's a little different cuz you wan those cute long locks, but maybe just aournd her bang area
We use a decent sized barette. If you use the ones with a metal backing they don't fall out as much. DD has never tried to put one in her mouth and if she did they are too big to go anywhere.

We do use barrettes, but they can be such a PITA. Mainly, I use little hair ties- they sell them right with the other hair supplies in Target- and put her hair up that way.
i use elastic hair bands. my DD would rip the regular hair bands out of her hair, so i am now using the little rubber band like hair ties. can't rip those out if you tie it enough around the hair.
Re: Safe way to keep baby's hair out of face?
"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
