I was suppose to have this test done, but surprisingly got pregnant the cycle before. I was going to participate in a research study which involved me doing a mock cycle. I was going to do lupron and then PIO. In between they would do an endometrial biopsy to look for the integrins. It sounded kinda like a pap.
However, in prepping for the study, I failed to ovulate and didn't qualify. So I would then have to do it unmedicated and OOP. Thankfully I just ovulated late and didn't need it.
I was told if the integrins were found, the treatment would be Lupron for several months. I have and endo diagnosis and my docs believed that the previous failed attempts could have been related to these integrins prohibiting implantation. My doc was completly surprised by my bfp. You can google Dr. Lessey and find some information on his research in this area.
There were several others on the IF board who also had this done. I can't remember names right now. Its been since February that I asked about it.
Good luck to you.

Thanks datagirl179 for being the lone poster with some info! I told my dr I didn't want to actually do the test (just had a hysteroscopy and laporoscopic surgery the end of May) but if the protocol wouldn't hurt to just do it next cycle. So I did learn lupron was a protocol and wasn't fun.
I had the test done and it definitely is not like a pap smear. I will be completely honest with you and don't want to scare you -- but -- it hurt like hell. It seriously last 5 seconds but it does hurt. My suggestion is take some Advil.
