We are taking a flight in a few weeks and I want to get the kids (or at least DS) some headphones so he/they can watch movies or play games. I was reading some reviews of the kid-friendly (i.e. volume controlled) headphones and they seem great, but some of the reviews indicated that because the volume was controlled, they weren't loud enough over the noise of the airplane.
Any recs would be great! Or should I just get regular ones and make sure the volume is low enough? They have never used headphones before, either, so I'm thinking the big, comfy ones would be best.
Thanks!
Re: Rec your kid-friendly, airplane-friendly headphones
We have and really like the Kidz Gear Wired Headphones (got them from Amazon). We have used them on several flights and never had any trouble hearing over the airplane noise. We also have Sony children's headphones that are fine too. Those ones don't have the volume control, they are just smaller sized to fit children.

We have a set of these for each DD and have used them on a couple flights. Very happy with them. I like that you can adjust the volume on the side yourself, and they seem very comfy.

Another thumbs up for these. We have them and both kids like and wear them.
